SURF TRAINING SCHOOL 

The Surf Training School is a sports organisation , recognised by the Portuguese Surfing Federation, which is dedicated to teach surfing. 

It is located at Edifício Transparente , where the beach offers excellent conditions for starting and improving surfing and which benefits from its proximity to Parque da Cidade. 

The school was founded in 2006 between three great friends and long-time surfers, and its team is made up of dedicated and responsible teachers, duly accredited by the Portuguese Surfing Federation. 

Nowadays, this school is pleased to have highly competitive athletes, who travel the national territory in the various professional and regional championships, which take place throughout the year. 

The Surf Training School is dedicated weekly to teaching surfing, including families, friends, tourists and schools (within the scope of Physical Education), students from universities, companies and gyms, through protocols, students from all ages, from 6 to 60 years old! 

The school also organizes birthday parties and has participated in several events, namely in partnership with the Porto City Council, as happened on the 28th of May, as part of the 2nd Porto Youth Meeting. 

During holiday periods (Christmas, Carnival, Easter and Summer) the school organizes SURF HOLIDAYS, which takes place every week, from Monday to Friday, organised especially so that young people can make the most of their free time surfing and enjoying nature.
